FDL Man Arrested for Firing Pellet Gun

A 70-year old Fond du Lac man is in custody for an incident involving a pellet gun Wednesday night. Officers responded to the 200 block of Breister Avenue around 8:40pm for a report of a “neighbor running around with a gun threatening to shoot everyone”. The caller claims the man fired three shots from the gun. Police created a perimeter around his home and blocked off a section of the street as they worked to contact the man by phone. The suspect agreed to come out and speak with officers, but walked outside with the gun in his hands after being asked not to do so. He was then arrested at gun point. Investigators determined that it was a pellet gun and that he had fired some pellets, but nobody was injured. He now faces a charge of disorderly conduct.
