FDL Man Charged with Attempted Homicide, Five Other Charges in Beating Case

A 19-year-old Fond du Lac man was formally charged Thursday
with attempted 1st degree intentional homicide and five other counts
after he allegedly beat his 73-year-old stepfather and stole his vehicle. Ryan
Robison made his initial court appearance in Fond du Lac County Court Thursday.
Police say Robison attacked his stepfather at his apartment Tuesday afternoon,
then stole his vehicle and fled the scene. He was later arrested in Sun
Prairie. The stepfather suffered life-threatening injuries and was flown to
Theda Care Regional Medical Center in Neenah for treatment. Robison also faces
charges of mayhem, first-degree reckless injury, aggravated battery, recklessly
endangering safety and operating a vehicle without the owners consent. Robinson’s bond was set at $400,000 cash. He’s due back in court for a preliminary hearing
next Friday.
