FDL Man Faces Charges for Threatening Ripon City Officials

A Fond du Lac man is charged with making terrorist threats after allegedly threatening to shoot Ripon city officials. 73-year old David Zeatlow appeared in court on Wednesday.

According to the criminal complaint, Zeatlow was upset the city was planning to tear down his home. He has been cited several times for the home being a “health nuisance” – and the city issued an order to raze the building this spring. Zeatlow allegedly made the threats while on the phone with Governor Scott Walker’s office on Monday, as he tried to get the governor to block the order.

He faces up to four years in prison and $12,000 in fines if convicted.
