FDL Man Gets Eleventh Conviction For Operating While Intoxicated

A 42-year-old Fond du Lac man was recently convicted of his 11th drunken driving offense. Steve Johnson pled no contest to criminal charges in Outagamie County. He was arrested New Year’s Day following a traffic crash in downtown Appleton. A breath test put his blood alcohol content at more than three times the legal limit. He had a valid driver’s license when he was arrested. Johnson will be sentenced on June 2nd and could get up to 15 years in prison.
