FDL Man Gets Prison Sentence For Fight That Left Man With Brain Injury

The 26-year-old Fond du Lac man suspected of a fight that left the victim with bleeding in the brain has been sentenced to 18 months in prison and 18 months on extended supervision.  Elias Falcon-Silva recently pled no contest to an aggravated battery charge in Fond du Lac County Court. A disorderly conduct charge was read into the record and dismissed. Restitution has yet to be determined. Falcon-Silva made it all the way to Dallas, Texas on a bus in an effort to leave the country following the fight last March outside an apartment complex on Reid-Terrace. He was arrested getting off the bus. Thirty-six-year-old Lucio Falcon-Silva faces the same charges for the fight.  He has a jury trial next February. The victim was punched in the face and repeatedly kicked in the head resulting in bleeding in the brain. He was taken to Froedtert Hospital.
