FDL Man Involved In School Incident Bound Over For Trial

The 54-year-old Fond du Lac man who pulled a knife on
another parent at Evans Elementary School last month has been bound over for
trial. Leonard Dake was in Fond du Lac County Court for a preliminary hearing
Friday. Dake waived his right to the hearing and was bound over for trial. He’s
suspected of lunging at an off-duty firefighter and paramedic when the other man
confronted him about a reckless driving incident. No one was hurt in the
incident, but a police officer had to use a stun gun to bring Dake under
control. The school was placed in lock down during the May 28th incident. It
happened as students were beginning to get out of school for the day.
