FDL Man Involved In Standoff Incident Charged

Bond has been set at $15,000 cash for a 29-year-old Fond du Lac man who barricaded himself in the bathroom of his home this past weekend. Fond du Lac Police say Anthony Miotke was armed with a knife when he got into an argument with a woman at 61 N. Marr. After barricading himself in the bathroom he refused to come out. The police department called in its SWAT team. Eventually negotiators got him to surrender without incident. Nobody was injured during the incident. Miotke refused to sign his bond form when he made his initial appearance Tuesday in Fond du Lac County Court. He’s facing 12 different charges including battery, disorderly conduct, obstructing an officer, and bail jumping. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for February 26th.
