FDL, NFDL School Districts Offering Meal Pick Up for Students During Closure

Students in the Fond du Lac and North Fond du Lac school
districts will have access to a free brown bag lunch while schools are closed for
the next few weeks because of a state mandate to help stop the spread of COVID-19.


The Fond du Lac School District will begin offering the
free lunch starting Wednesday (March 18th) to all students 18-years-old
and younger. Meals will be served at three locations – Fond du Lac High School (front
entrance), Sabish Middle School (doors 2 & 3 – south side), and Riverside
Elementary (Gym lobby) – from 11 am until 1 pm daily, as supplies are
available. The lunches will include a sandwich, fruit, vegetable and milk – and
a dry breakfast for the next day. 


On Tuesday – the Fond du Lac School District announced four additional food pick-up sites at Parkside Elementary School, the Boys & Girls Club of Fond du Lac, the Fond du Lac County Fairgrounds (Look for the Aramark Vehicle) and the Fond du Lac Public Library Parking Lot. 


In the School District of North Fond du Lac, food pickup
will be held Monday through Friday – starting this Wednesday – from 11:30 until 1 pm for students 18 and
under. Food will be delivered at six different locations, including:


–Van Horn Hyundai – N6652 Esterbrook Road


–Presentation Parish Parking Lot – Minnesota Avenue


–NFDL District Office – 1115 Thurke Avenue (East side of Friendship
Learning Center)


–Ashwood Grove Club House – W7033 Discovery Drive


–Gaslight Park – Corner of Oriole Way and Gaslight Drive


–Van Dyne Fire Department – N9515 Van Dyne Road.
