FDL PD Investigates Hostage Incident

The Fond du Lac Police Department responded to the Radisson Hotel at located at 625 West Rolling Meadows Drive in the City of Fond du Lac Monday afternoon for a report of a female being held hostage by several men with guns.

The initial report came in shortly after 3:30 pm Monday (3/15/2022) when a male called the Fond du Lac County Dispatch Center and reported getting a call from a female who stated she was in a corner room at the hotel and there were men with guns not letting her leave.

The police department responded to the hotel with at least 6 patrol cars and the city’s armored “bearcat” vehicle to set up a perimeter.

Within the hour, investigation showed the female in question was not at the hotel and was safe at another location.

Police are investigating the matter.
