FDL PD Investigates Shots Fired

The Fond du Lac Police Department is investigating a report of shots being fired that occurred Thursday evening.

Police were called to the 100 block of Forest Ave. at about 10:05 p.m. Thursday July 29^th, 2021 for a report of possible gun shots heard in the area.  The caller indicated they saw two males running from the area of where they heard the shots. 

Officers did not locate anyone reporting any injuries and did not locate any damage to houses or vehicles in the area but did recover some spent shell casings.

Two male subjects from Fond du Lac, a 21-year-old and a 30-year-old who fled from Officers investigating the incident, were taken into custody after brief foot chases.  Both subjects are being held on outstanding warrants for their arrest.  The two males have not been arrested for this incident and the investigation continues.
