FDL PD Investigating Shots Fired Overnight

FDL PD is investigating confirmed reports of shots fired early Saturday morning in the 100 block of Forest Ave.

Officers were notified just before 1:00 a.m. of at least 5 gunshots being heard in that area. Witnesses say the shots came from a black SUV, possibly a black Nissan Pathfinder, being operated by at least two males.

Initial reports said the vehicle took off heading east of Forest Ave., and then turned south on Macy.

A 33-year old female reported gunshots had damaged her car, and officers did find blood at the scene, but did not locate anyone with injuries from the gunshots.

The matter remains under investigation, and anyone with any information is asked to contact the Fond du Lac Police Department.
