FDL PD Searches For Hit And Run Driver

An early Easter Sunday hit and run in downtown Fond du Lac has the Fond du Lac PD searching for the driver.

KFIZ’s Breaking News Editor, Doug Raflik, reported the incident shortly before 2:30 a.m. Sunday (4/17/22).

FDL Fire/Rescue was called to an area near Portland and First St., where it was reported a female was hit by a vehicle. The woman was reportedly conscious.

Reports are a 19-year old female was crossing Portland when witnesses said a black vehicle, that looked like a Tesla, struck the girl.

The car was last seen heading east on 1st St.

Police arrived within 2 minutes and found the female conscious and she was transported to St. Agnes Hospital for injuries.

Officers searched the area but could not find a car matching the description.
