FDL Police Accepting Applications for Citizen’s Academy

The Fond du Lac Police Department is now accepting applications for its Citizen’s Police Academy. The program is designed to give participants a working knowledge of the department – and while it’s not a training class, it provides behind-the-scenes looks and information about the department. The intent is to create a more informed and safer community, and to build support for the police force. The class begins on August 28^th and runs for ten weeks from 6:00-8:00pm on Tuesday nights. The deadline to apply is August 14^th. Applications can be picked up at the police department.
