FDL Police Benevolent Association Awards Scholarships

The Fond du Lac Police Benevolent Association again awarded scholarships to local graduating seniors. The nominees were judged on the basis of multiple achievement, leadership, character, community service and scholarship. Funds for the scholarships are raised through various fund raising efforts throughout the year.

This year’s winners included (L-R) Allison Opheim (Laconia), Steven Braatz (Springs), and Brooke Mathes (Horace Mann). Also Receiving scholarships but unable to attend the presentation were Molly Kluever (Springs) and Keegan Buros (Fondy). Presenting the awards were Benevolent members Officer Kari Gordee and Officer Jon Williams.
