FDL Police Investigating Report of Gunshots Early Sunday Morning

Fond du Lac Police are investigating a report of gunshots from
early Sunday morning. Officers were called to the area of Forest Avenue and
Brooke Street just after 3 AM for a report of 4 to 5 gunshots being heard. According
to call logs, a witness reported seeing a van stop on Brooke Street at the time
the shots were heard, with the van “taking off” northbound a short time later. Other
people reported hearing shots, but did not see any suspects. Investigators
reportedly found five shell casings in the road on Brooke Street. Anyone with
information about the incident is asked to call police.
