FDL Ranked Among Best Places To Live
Money Magazine recently ranked Fond du Lac among the 100 Best Places to Live. In fact the City ranked 32nd. The article noted the City is home to Mercury Marines’ headquarters and industrial and health care-related businesses help keep unemployment low here. It also mentioned a picturesque downtown and the historic lighthouse. The Fond du Lac County Fair, Walleye Weekend, Fondue Fest and Lakeside Park also got favorable mentions. During this past week’s City Council meeting City Manager Joe Moore mentioned the ranking and thanked the Council for their roles in keeping things affordable and maintaining some of the City’s best features.
