FDL Restaurant Among Top Culvers In The Nation

The Culver’s Restaurant on East Johnson Street in Fond du Lac Monday celebrated being among the four finalists in the nationwide Culver’s Crew Challenge. The occasion was marked by an appearance by Culver’s CEO Craig Culver who presented an award to the restaurants co-owners Dan and Sandy Lichtenwald and their employees. Culver said it says a lot about the service the local restaurant offers to their patrons. Culver grew up in the restaurant business and says he’s still part of the Culver’s crew. Pat and Rick Miller are also co-owners of the local restaurant. Pat says she couldn’t be happier for their employees to be considered among the top Culver’s restaurants in a chain with 528 restaurants. Four of the restaurant’s employees will take a trip to the annual Culver’s Convention in San Antonio, Texas next February to represent the local restaurant as one of four restaurants competing for a $50,000 first place prize. The restaurants that finish as runnersup will each get checks for $10,000.
