FDL Runners In Boston Marathon Are Safe

All four runners from Fond du Lac who participated in the Boston Marathon are reported to be safe after two bombs exploded near the finish line just before 2 p.m. Central Time yesterday. According to the race’s entrant list on the internet Ted Eischeid, Jean Rusch, Seth Udlis and Roland Woodward, Jr. of Fond du Lac participated in the 117th running of the Boston Marathon. Also participating from Oshkosh were Matt Berndt, Jason Ryf and Karrine Spiller. At least three people died including an 8-year-old boy. Nearly 150 were injured during the explosions and at least 17 were reported to be in critical condition.
