FDL School Board To Meet Monday (6/29) To Fill Vacancy
The
School Board will meet Monday June 29th, to interview candidates to
fill the current vacancy on the board. The need to fill the position was created when Peggy Breister abruptly announced
her resignation effective June 1, 2020. Breister said the resignation comes as
a result of her accepting a leadership role at UW-Oshkosh, which would add more
duties and responsibilities, and would not allow her to fulfill her role on the
School Board. In an e-mail to KFIZ News, Shawn Bauer from the FDL School
District Administration Office, confirmed the following residents will be
interviewed, with one candidate being chosen by the existing Board:

Ishamon Harris III
Joe Guyette
Meagan Stitt
Dr. Kay Miller
Farah Tabassum
Mark Henschel
Jim Prosser
