FDL School Board To Meet Tonight, Will Discuss Approving New Superintendent Contract And Board Compensation

The FDL School Board is set to meet for the first time since the April election. Making his first appearance as a school board member will be Mark Henschel who begins his 3-year term tonight. one of the first items on the agenda will be the election of officers.

Once the newly elected officers have been named, the board will work their way through an agenda that includes discussion of current board compensation. Board members are currently paid $1600 per year, with the board president earning $1800. Also included tonight will be the approval of the contract for incoming superintendent Dr. Jeffrey Fleig, who is officially set to takeover in the District office July 1st. He is set to earn just over $167,000 per year.
