FDL School District Announces Several Scholarship Winners

Brianna Badtke was recently presented the annual $500 Music Parents scholarship from the organization’s president, Robin Speidel, at the 2015 Fond du Lac High School (FHS) Senior Musicians banquet. Criteria for selection of this scholarship include active membership in a FHS music program, significant contributions in the areas of musicianship, service, leadership, team-building, responsibility, dependability and future study in the area of music. Brianna has been accepted at Alverno College to study Music Therapy. Pictured above.

Danielle Wendel is the 2015 recipient of the John Theis Memorial Scholarship. This $1,000 scholarship is presented by the Roberts PTO and funded by SCRIP. It is given in memory of John Theis who served as the Roberts School Principal from 1991-98, and passed away in 2001. It has been awarded since 1997. Dani, daughter of Kandi Wendel and Anthony Wendel, will be attending UW-Oshkosh in the fall planning to major in biology. Pictured below.
