FDL School District Losing Three Principals

Fond du Lac Schools Superintendent Jim Sebert says when you have quality administrators working for you there’s a risk of losing them to other school districts. Roberts Elementary Principal Brad Ebert is one of three principals the district is losing. He will become district administrator for the Kiel Area School District. Sebert says when Ebert got his doctorate and superintendent’s license he knew it wouldn’t be long before Ebert got his own opportunity to be a superintendent. He says Ebert joined the District in 2010 spending four years as assistant principal at Theisen Middle School and the last three as principal at Roberts Elementary. STEM Academy and Institute Principal Don Smith is also leaving for an opportunity elsewhere and Evans Elementary Principal Jim Botting is retiring.
