FDL Schools Superintendent Testifies Against Expansion Of School Choice

Fond du Lac School District Superintendent Jim Sebert testified against the proposed expansion of the school choice voucher program before the state legislature’s Joint Finance Committee this week. Sebert told the committee that the District does not have D or F schools in terms of performance, but three schools that met few expectations on a new school report card system. He also testified against the use of special education vouchers. One thing he did support was a plan by Senators Luther Olsen and Mike Ellis to increase the revenue cap per pupil by $150 in each year of the two-year state budget.
