FDL Sex Offender Gets A Second Chance

A 42-year-old sex offender was released from prison Monday and is now living at 457 Thomas Street in Fond du Lac. Gregory Smack was previously released from prison. His most recent stint was for tampering with his GPS bracelet and resisting arrest. He served 7 years in prison for sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl. Smack was released from prison in July of 2009 on extended supervision, but was sent back four months later for violating his supervision.
