FDL Sheriff’s Deputies Respond to Multiple Runoffs, Crashes on Sunday

The combination of blowing snow and ice on Sunday made
for a busy day for Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Deputies. The sheriff’s office
reports they handled 25 disabled vehicles, where the vehicles either left the
road and became stuck in the ditch or simply were stuck on the road in the
drifting snow. Deputies also assisted with 13 property damage crashes on Sunday.
Any injuries in those crashes were reported to be minor. The Wisconsin State
Patrol, Fond du Lac County Highway Department and Dodge County Sheriff’s Office
– along with many others – assisted Fond du Lac County Deputies in helping
those who were on the roads on Sunday.
