FDL Sheriff’s Office, Oshkosh PD Asking for Help in Locating Missing Man

The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office along with
Oshkosh Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a man who is
considered missing and endangered. A vehicle belonging to Andrew Hildebrand Oshkosh was
located in the Kettle Moraine State Forest at the Auburn Lake Boat Launch
parking lot in the southeastern part of Fond du Lac County last week Tuesday. A
number of Law enforcement agencies assisted in an extensive ground and aerial
search using airplanes, drones and boats last week Wednesday and Thursday, but
Hildebrand was not located.

Authorities say he has made no threats to harm the
public, but there is reason to believe he is in possession of a .22 caliber
rifle and may still be in the area of the Kettle Moraine State Forest. Oshkosh
Police have entered a warrant into the system for his arrest on a charge of 1st
Degree Sexual Assault of a Child. Officers had interviewed Hildebrand in
regards to an assault investigation on May 12th. Police say the
charge is merely an accusation and that Hildebrand is innocent until proven
guilty.

Authorities are asking anyone with info regarding
Hildebrand’s location to call the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office at
920-929-3390 or Oshkosh Police at 920-236-5700.
