FDL Teen to Appear on Charges for Accidental Shooting, Drugs

A preliminary hearing is set to be held today in the case of
a Fond du Lac
teen accused of accidentally shooting another teen with an AK-47. 

18-year old
Trenton Hammarlund was reportedly cleaning the weapon when it went off, hitting
the other boy in the arm back in October. During his arrest, officers found
Hammarlund in possession of several containers filled with marijuana, over
$7,000 in cash, and over 100 prescription pills.

He is charged with First
Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety, Felony Possession with Intent to Deliver
THC, three counts of Possessing Illegally Obtained Prescriptions, and one count
for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He could face
nearly 23 years in prison if convicted on all charges.
