FDL Waste Management makes call to close Thursday

The cold weather hits just keep coming. Chad Fisher, Solid Waste Supervisor for the City of Fond du Lac, released a statement late Wednesday afternoon that, due to the extremely cold weather conditions, Waste Management will not be open Thursday, January 31st. Thursday’s Recycling Routes will not be collected and will be delayed one day. The Press Release said Waste Management will try their best to collect both Thursday and Friday Routes on Friday, but may have to finish collection on Saturday. Any questions may be directed to Waste Management at 923-8826. Hours of operation for Waste Management’s transfer station are 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

Garbage Collection will go on as scheduled this week. Local residents are reminded to please have your garbage containers at the curb on your regularly scheduled day.
