FDL Woman Allegedly Had Major Role In Heroin Dealing In The Area

A 30-year-old Fond du Lac woman allegedly had a major role in dealing heroin in the area. Keana Cousin is being held in the Fond du Lac County Jail on a $1 million cash bond. According to the criminal complaint Cousin was a passenger in a car on I-41 near County Highway B stopped by a Sheriff’s deputy last August. A search of the vehicle found a total of 132 grams of heroin, 44 grams of high grade marijuana and four grams of crack cocaine, which carry a street value of around $45,000. Later at the jail a search of Cousin found heroin on her person. She and the driver, 25-year-old Richard Ferguson of Fond du Lac, were charged with conspiracy to deliver more than 100 grams of heroin.  During a subsequent investigation Cousin kept coming up as a source of heroin sales. Confidential informants, other drug dealers and users told investigators Cousin had supplied them with between $305,000 to $340,000 worth of heroin since January of 2015. Cousin is one of 11 people facing charges in Fond du Lac County who were subjects of a year long investigation. She has a preliminary hearing on March 30th.
