FDL Woman Arrested after Search Warrants in FDL Apartment Complex

A 28-year-old woman from Fond du Lac was arrested after
Fond du Lac Police served three search warrants at three apartments in the Maplewood Commons
Apartment Complex on Thursday morning. Police, in conjunction with the Lake
Winnebago Area MEG Unit served the warrants as a the culmination of an
investigation into illegal drug activity in the city.


According to a news release, the woman was arrested for
possession with intent to distribute meth, Maintaining a Drug Dwelling and
Possession with Intent to Distribute Drugs within 1,000 feet of certain places.
Investigators found marijuana, digital scales and other drug paraphernalia
inside the apartment. Additional arrests are anticipated as a result of the
investigation. Police were assisted on the scene by Fond du Lac Fire and Rescue
and the Fond du Lac County Department of Social Services.


Fond du Lac Police Chief Bill Lamb said in a statement
that the Police Department “will continue to aggressively investigate and
arrest those individuals who choose to deal illegal drugs in our community,” and
that they “will not tolerate those who disrupt the peace and safety of our
neighborhoods through illegal drug activity.”
