FDL Woman Found Guilty Of Killing Her Husband

Eve Nance showed no emotion Friday morning when a Fond du Lac County jury found her guilty of killing her husband Tim and of hiding his corpse. The six-man, six-woman jury had eight days worth of testimony and 147 pieces of evidence to consider but came back with verdicts after only about two hours of deliberation District Attorney Eric Toney says no one really won in this case. He says it doesn’t change want happened, it doesn’t bring Tim back, it doesn’t give Tim’s daughter a father or mother. He says there was no winner with the verdict. Tim’s best friend Brandon Johnson called the verdict “bittersweet.” He says to get it finalized and complete to find her guilty, he and others knew that a year ago. He says it took this long for the court to come that conclusion. Eve Nance shot and killed Tim Nance in their home on November 1st of 2013. She disposed of his body at the end of a dead-end in Milwaukee. During an upcoming status conference a decision will be made about a pre-sentence investigation.
