“We are so grateful to have supporters that are so passionate about ensuring that quality bereavement services are available to individuals and families when they are needed most,” says Holly Brenner, Agnesian HealthCare Foundation president. “Proceeds will help Grief Relief expand and enhance its offerings in ways that fit the specific needs of those they serve.”
Agnesian HealthCare’s Grief Relief offers free facilitated peer support groups for children, teens, young adults and their families who are grieving the death of a significant person in their lives.
“The Grief Relief program has grown significantly since its inception,” says Donna Altepeter, LCSW, bereavement coordinator with the Agnesian Bereavement Center & Grief Relief. “The community now has a better understanding of the importance that grief support can play for children and their family members who have had a significant death in their lives.
