Finalists Named In Oakfield Superintendent Search

The Oakfield School Board has narrowed its search for district administrator to three finalists whom the board will interview on Monday.

The finalists, in alphabetical order, are:

  • Tracey Conners – Woodfield Elementary School Principal in the Waterford Graded School District. Before joining Waterford in 2017, Conners served in the West Bend School District for 14 years in a variety of roles including Principal of West Bend East and West High Schools; Director of Elementary Education; and Curriculum Coordinator.
  • Kevin Krutzik – Sheboygan Falls High School Principal. Krutzik taught as a graduate professor at Silver Lake College for six years and served as Associate Principal at Fond du Lac High School and Principal at Oshkosh Lourdes Middle/High School before joining Sheboygan Falls in June 2018.
  • Kerri Jo Patten – Director of Elementary Teaching and Learning and Friendship Learning Center Principal in the School District of North Fond du Lac. Patten was an Associate Principal in the Beaver Dam Unified School District before joining NFDL. Previously she was a teacher in the Mequon-Thiensville and Greenfield school districts.

The Board hopes to extend an offer in March to a candidate who would start effective July 1. The next district administrator will succeed Dr. Vance Dalzin, who is retiring in June after leading the district for five years.

Dalzin joined Oakfield after serving as Superintendent of the Fox Point-Bayside School District and before that, the Williams Bay School District. He also served for 12 years as principal of Whitewater High School and eight years as principal and assistant principal of Wilmot Union High School.
