Fire Causes Serious Damage To FDL Home

A Thursday morning fire caused extensive damage to a Fond du Lac home but thankfully no injuries. Fond du Lac Fire Rescue was called out at 8:22 a.m., Thursday morning, for reports of a house fire in the 500 block of E. Bank St. Crews arrived to find flames exiting the rear of the home. The fire was brought under control quickly, but not before causing serious damage. The home was occupied at the time, but the occupants were able to escape, thanks to a neighbor who alerted them of the fire. The cause of the fire remains under investigation. Fond du Lac PD assisted at the scene.
