Fire Destroys Town Of Trenton Home

Fire destroyed a home in Dodge County’s Town of Trenton Friday night. Waupun Fire Chief B.J. DeMaa says the family of three living in the home safely escaped, but a dog died in the fire. The Red Cross is assisting the family. Thirteen fire departments battled the blaze at N10241 Highway 151. No one was hurt in fire fighting efforts. Firefighters were on the scene for about 5 hours. Dennis Schmitt owns the home. The time of the fire call was around 8 p.m.
