Flags at Half Staff to Honor Sun Prairie Firefighter

Flags will fly at half-staff across Wisconsin today and Saturday in honor of the Sun Prairie Volunteer firefighter killed in an explosion Tuesday night. Captain Cory Barr died after a contractor drilled into a natural gas line – causing the blast.

An order from Governor Scott Walker orders flags to fly at half-mast through sunset Saturday. A fundraiser for Barr’s wife and two young children has seen incredible support, with a GoFundMe page raising over $150,000 so far. Click here if you want to donate to the family of Captain Barr.
