Fond du Lac And Wisconsin Primary Election Results

23,254 people voted in Fond du Lac County yesterday for the primary election.

The county lined up perfectly with the final results for the state races, picking Republican Tim Michels to go up against Tony Evers for Governor.

Sara Rodriguez won for the Democrat candidate for Lt. Governor and Roger Roth wins as the Republican candidate.

Democrat Josh Kaul won uncontested for Attorney General and will go up against Republican Eric Toney who won in the states tightest race, just beating Adam Jarchow by less than 1%. As expected though, Toney won Fond du Lac County by a landslide where he is currently holds the District Attorney position.

For Secretary of State, Democrat Doug La Follette wins both the state and Fond du Lac County, as does Republican Amy Loudenbeck who squeaked by Jay Schroeder in Fond du Lac County voting by only eight votes.

State Treasurer winners are Republican John Leiber and Democrat Aaron Richardson.

Both Democrat Mandela Barnes and Republican Ron Johnson won their races for US Senate by landslides, winning with 78% and 83.8% of the votes.

Wisconsin’s 6th Congressional District incumbent Glenn Grothman will return to his position as he will run unopposed in the general election.

The race for Wisconsin’s 42nd Assembly district will be between Republican Jon Plumer and Democrat Theresa Valencia who both ran unopposed for their parties.

Wisconsin’s 52nd Assembly district winners are Republican Jerry O’Connor and Democrat Joe Lavrenz.

Wisconsin’s 53rd Assembly district title will remain with Michael Schraa as he will run unopposed in the general election.

And Wisconsin 59th Assembly district will go to Republican Ty Bodden who runs unopposed in the general election.

Sheriff Ryan Waldschmidt holds on to his badge for another two years as no one has decided to run against him, as is the case for Clerk of Courts Republican Ramona Geib.

The General Election will take place November 8.
