Fond du Lac County Fair Kicks Off
The Fond du Lac County Fair is here – and there is plenty to check out on the grounds. The exhibitors showing their animals are excited for their competitions and judging, while other visitors head straight for the food vendors and kids run for the rides.
Emily Franke of Oakfield is the new Fairest of the Fair, and she’s more than ready to do her job. Franke says “the fair is my favorite week of summer and I have deep roots here. I love everything about the fair and I’m just excited to promote it as much as possible.”
She adds that there is something for everyone to check out, and “everyone should come to the
Fair, especially because it’s free – just to see what it’s all about. Because
there are so many people who don’t know what it’s about and I live for the
fair, so I think everyone should experience it!”
