Fond du Lac High School’s Youth Apprenticeship Students Visit Madison

Fond du Lac High School Youth Apprenticeship students traveled to Madison legislators’ offices to learn more about their roles at this level of government. Wisconsin’s Youth Apprenticeship program is part of a statewide high school work-based-learning initiative. It is designed for high school students who want hands-on learning in an occupational area at a work site along with classroom instruction. This one- or two-year elective program combines academic and technical instruction with mentored on-the-job learning.  Pictured here (L-R) are instructor Tammy Krug-Pickart, Maria Bellows, Nicole Mulder, Josh Schneider, and Corey Garfoot
