Fond du Lac Man Arrested For ATM Heist In Florence County

A 25-year old Fond du Lac man has been arrested for a burglary that took place in Florence County. The man reportedly broke into the Northern Lites Bar Sunday morning, December 20 and took off with an ATM machine, which was found later that morning in the woods about seven miles from the scene. The investigation led to a person of interest in Fond du Lac, with authorities interviewing the man, who did admit to stealing the ATM. The suspect also showed deputies where the money from the machine was hidden. All of the money has been recovered, and the investigation is continuing.
