Fond du Lac Man Suffers Gun Shot Wounds Outside Kings and Queens

One man is in serious but stable condition after received gun shot wounds early Sunday morning outside a downtown Fond du Lac bar. Officers from the Fond du Lac Police Department had increased presence around multiple bars at closing time.

At approximately 2:11am, a Fond du Lac Police Officer outside Kings and Queens Lounge located at 211 S. Military Rd. observed a physical
altercation. Within moments, the Officer heard several gun shots and located a 34-yearold Fond du Lac man with gunshot wounds to his body.

The Police Officer immediately began life saving measures. Fond du Lac Fire/Rescue paramedics arrived on the scene and continued life saving measures. The 34-year old Fond du Lac man was then taken to the hospital where he is remains in serious but stable
condition.

The investigation into this incident is at the very preliminary stages and the shooting remains under active investigation. Investigators are working to identify possible suspects. No additional details are available at this time.

The Fond du Lac Police Department was assisted at the scene by the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office, Fond du Lac Fire/Rescue, and Wisconsin State Patrol.
