Fond du Lac Man To Spend 14 Years In Prison On Meth Charges

A sentence was handed down Friday for a Fond du Lac man who was facing meth and gun-related charges. 36-year-old Adrian Irby will spend 14 years in prison along with another 11 years of extended supervision. Fond du Lac County District Attorney Eric Toney made the announcement Friday afternoon, with the sentence being delivered by Judge Robert Wirtz. Irby’s charges include:

  • Manufacture/Delivery Methamphetamine on or near Certain Places as a Repeater
  • Conspiracy to Commit Possession with Intent Methamphetamine on or near certain places
  • Possession of a Firearm by a Felon as a Repeater

Toney referred to Irby as a significant meth dealer and says the severity of the sentence should send a clear message that the delivery of methamphetamine results in serious consequences.
