Fond du Lac Schools Help to Set New World Record on World JAM Day

The third annual World Jam Day was held on February 12 at 10 a.m. with students across the United States exercising together.  Prior to that date schools were asked to sign up and commit to exercising. In the Fond du Lac School District, Riverside, Roberts, and Parkside Elementary Schools all helped to break the world record for number of people jamming on the same day at the same time.  Gael Valdovinos,  a Riverside student, enthusiastically participated in “jamming” as one of the 1,477,381 students who set the new record. The JAM School Program offers schools free wellness tools that they can use to help kids and adults learn healthier daily habits and get more active every day.
