Fond du Lac “Surprisingly Quiet” in Storm Aftermath

The City of Fond du Lac did not see quite as much damage – or flooding – as most people expected after being pounded by the storm on Tuesday. Director of Public Works Jordan Skiff tells us things were “surprisingly quiet” around town in the wake of the tornado-creating cell that hit the area. He says trees and some power lines were down, but they mostly avoided causing damage to homes and vehicles. Skiff adds that some streets were covered in water, but the river did not exceed flood-stage levels.
