Fond du Lac’s National Night Out Draws Hundreds

Hundreds of people showed up for National Night Out last night at the Fond du Lac
County Fairgrounds park.

The Waukesha based Flight For Life medical helicopter flew in offering children and adults a tour of their newest helicopter which displayed it’s new look.

Other public safety groups on hand included The Fond du Lac Police Department, Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Department,
Wisconsin State Patrol, City of Fond du Lac Fire and Rescue, Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources and Fond du Lac County Emergency Management.

This year’s “Mascot Race” was won by 107.1 The Bull’s Banjo.

There were also multiple related organizations there to talk about services they offer and several food
vendors were on hand.

Public safety officials spent the afternoon and evening talking with adults and playing games with children, using the opportunity to build a positive relationship with the community.

National Night Out takes place every year on the first Tuesday in August.
