Fondy’s Season Ends at Fruth
Germantown advanced to the WIAA Division One State Quarterfinals with a 34-7 win over Fond du Lac at Fruth Field on Friday night. Fondy’s only touchdown came with 8:52 left in the first half when Brian Luteyn caught caught a 24 yard pass from Quinn Woelful. Justin Maratik led the Cardinals with 79 yards rushing on 18 carries. Fond du Lac’s season end at 5-6. All six of the Cardinals losses came against teams that were ranked in the state’s top 10 at some point during the year. Germantown will travel to Hartland Arrowhead next weekend.
