Forest Mall May See Meijer Development

The Fond du Lac City Council is approving a special use permit for a gas station and convenience store at the Forest Mall. Meijer, a superstore chain that has expanded throughout northeast Wisconsin, is eyeing a new spot in Fond du Lac. The chain is developing a plan for a new supercenter on mall property – which city officials hope will help to revitalize the mall and attract more businesses back to the area.
