Forklift Collides With Bus Carrying 4 Students, No Injuries Reported
It’s never good when a forklift collides with a vehicle. It’s even worse, when the forklift runs into a school bus. Thankfully, the only damage done in this crash was to the forklift and the bus.
The incident occurred Tuesday afternoon at 4:00 p.m. at N. Hickory St and W. Johnson St. A Johnson school bus was traveling south on Hickory, and was making a lane change as it approached the stop light at W. Johnson. A forklift was traveling east from the old Parrot Palms parking lot, carrying a small metal dumpster, when it collided with the bus.
The bus was carrying four children at the time. There were no injuries reported, and all the kids were transported to their destination by another bus.
