Former FDL Woman Pleads Not Guilty To Child Abuse And Neglect Charges

The former Fond du Lac woman suspected of abusing two boys pled not guilty when she was arraigned in Fond du Lac County Court Monday. Forty-six-year-old Jeana Riehl will have a plea and sentencing hearing August 15th and if she maintains her innocence will a jury trial on September 30th. She’s facing child abuse and neglect charges. According to the criminal complaint her abuse of the 11 and 12-year-old boys happened over a six year span. The complaint alleges she used a rolling pin, cutting board, horse whip, plastic and wooden spoons, and more recently a hunting arrow. One of the boys was also allegedly locked in a bathroom for several weeks only being allowed out for a meal. Her husband Troy Riehl is charged with being party to the neglect and abuse because he knew about it, but did nothing to prevent it. He has a plea hearing on August 29th.
