Former Fond du Lac Director Of Public Works Terminated In Plymouth

After only 10 months on the job as the City Administrator/Utilities Manager in Plymouth, Jordan Skiff has been terminated from that position.

The Plymouth Common Council met in closed session Tuesday night, and according to their online agenda, it was to meet to “consider dismissal or discipline of any public employee and the taking of formal action on any such matter; provided that the public employee is given actual notice of any evidentiary hearing which may be held prior to final action being taken and of any meeting at which final action may be taken.”

Mayor Don Pohlman issued a statement, which said in part “Council voted to terminate their employment contract with City Administrator/Utilities Manager, Jordan Skiff, effective immediately. While this decision was difficult for Council, we wish Mr. Skiff the best in his future endeavors.”

Skiff had been the Director of Public Works for the City of Fond du Lac from 2011 until his departure in December of 2020.

An interim City Administrator/Utilities Manager has been named, with the Council appointing Cathy Austin.
